This version of Kido is based on the WeiDu version 166 and is meant as an component of a larger mod I'm working on.
This is 3.3 version. Why is this still an Alpha you ask me? He still hasn't got a quest (did you ever wanted to destroy a temple in order to create another?) and a challenge, that is why.

One major annoying thing of version 3 (if you had a v.2 or v.1 installation) is that you have to pick up Kido once more in the playhouse in order for everything to work. If you don't, you will miss out on the new item, some interjections won't start or at least improper and his conversations with the PC won't happen.

Though Kido has been bug-tested already for quite a bit in SoA he might still contain bugs and he has been (almost) completly untested in ToB. I should put more times in to tests, but I'm quite impatient. So that is why it is already out. Please report any bugs to his forum called Darkness in Light (which is the bigger mod he is part of)

Kido banters 3 to 4 times with every Bioware NPC throughout SoA and ToB. Only Yoshimo and Sarevok have only two banters.

If you want to find Kido quick in SoA, go to the playhouse in the bridge district, he will be applauding for Biff the Understudy.

To know where all the interjections are or if you wish to talk about Kido go to http://forums.forgottenwars.net. Search for the Room (under Mods under Construction) called The Mod for the Wicked (the bigger mod Kido is part of).

In my eyes if you really want Kido at his best, you ought to take him into a Neutral party containing some good guys and
some evil do-ers. As Kido is at best at nagging good persons (Well, there are some persons that don't take it well and either fight or leave)

Kido tries to romance another NPC, makes another leave the party and (as stated before) fights with another one

If you have several lives in the game (like I do) and you play good; kill Kido as he is worth some xp.

Kido works well with the following people: Minsc, Nalia (yes he is evil, but he likes nagging these guys without them having problems with it, because they don't understand it quit well (Minsc even loves it))
Kido works reasonable with Imoen, Yoshimo, Viconia, Jan, Haer'Dalis, Cernd, Valygar, Sarevok, Edwin
Kido works bad with Jaheira, Aerie, Korgan, Mazzy, Anomen, Keldorn

If you like to translate the mod, go ahead, mail me the new version and I'll put it on the website & off course giving you
the credit for the translation and the pleasure of giving a whole new group of people the fun of Kido.

You can not get Kido's improved dagger yet due to playing the game (this will be the reward of his personal quest). However, you can CLUA it into the game. The item is known as 'ikdagg'. However, do this at around level 14 or the dagger is surely overpowered.
